On Wednesday, 29 th September 2004 , The Vulcan Wheel won ABC TV’s The New Inventors.

The Vulcan Wheel is now set to revolutionise both wheelchair travel and Paralympic sport.

The New Inventors is known for showcasing products from emerging artists of the future and Vulcan Wheels is very proud to be one of them.

Judged by a panel of Australia's leading architects, designers, engineers, scientists and new media specialists, who evaluate all the inventions on the merits of originality, design qualities, manufacturing potential, pricing, marketability, safety and the critical 'need' factor, the Vulcan Wheel emerged as the winner and will continue to impress for the huge advantages it has over the conventional wheelchair wheel.
